Today I accompanied the family of Elsie Frost on the 53rd anniversary of her murder when they submitted their petition to the Attorney General to request a new inquest into her death. Elsie was 14 years old when she was murdered in 1965, and no one has ever been convicted for the crime. Thanks to efforts by Elsie’s siblings, Anne and Colin, police reopened the investigation and believe they found the man responsible, but he died before he could be tried.
A new inquest will reveal the police’s evidence, and I hope it will finally provide some truth and justice to the family.
