Last Friday I officially opened the new Eye Centre at Pinderfields Hospital.
It was a privilege to open the new Centre, and to see the next stage in the rebuilding of Pinderfields Hospital, which has transformed hospital services in the area. The new £5million building was completed on time and under budget, a testament to the hard work of the project management, architecture and construction staff.
I pay tribute to the excellent work done by the medical and admin staff at the Eye Centre to improve people’s vision and people’s lives. With medical advancements we are all living longer, and we are able to experience the joys of sight well into old age.
