Mary Creagh urges Government to protecting UK farmers after Brexit

UK farmers face a triple jeopardy from Brexit, with the loss of common agricultural policy subsidies, potential new tariffs on currently tariff-free trade with the EU, and the loss of key environmental protections and food safety standards. During questions to the Secretary for Departing the EU, Mary asked the Government to do everything necessary to protect UK farmers and farming businesses - the same assurance they have given to the City of London. They refused to answer the question.
