Congratulations to Darren Byford, who was elected as a new councillor for Horbury and South Ossett, and Lynn Masterman, the new Labour councillor for Ossett. Mary joined them both yesterday for some sunny door-knocking. Congratulations also to successfully re-elected Hilary Mitchell in West, Betty Rhodes in North, and Ros Lund in East. Mary is looking forward to working with you all.

Congratulations are also in order for Mark Burns-Williamson, who was re-elected as Labour’s Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire, winning 49% of the first round votes.
