Kadcyla Debate in the Commons

Mary spoke in a debate organised by Labour’s Siobhain McDonagh on the breast cancer drug Kadcyla, which has been turned down for use by the NHS on financial grounds. She argued that we need a health system in which the most effective cancer treatments are available to all patients, and not just those who can afford private healthcare.
