Mary meets Dimple Well prize winners

Wakefield’s Labour Parliamentary candidate Mary Creagh took time out to visit Dimple Well Infant School and Nursery in Ossett on Tuesday 27 April.  She was invited by Ossett Post Office and Dimple Well Headteacher Helen Williams to present prizes to Dimple Well pupils who entered the Post Office’s colouring competition.

The children were invited to enter the colouring competition by Ossett Post Office to brighten up the Easter holidays.  Each child at the school got a “goodie bag” and winners from the nursery and foundation classes got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes and Easter eggs.

Mary said “It was lovely to visit Dimple Well school this morning and give the lucky prize winners a late Easter egg which I know they will enjoy. This is a brilliant example of the Post Office working with local communities. I applaud the work of all the team at Ossett Post Office. They ran an excellent competition which got lots of children visiting the Post Office over the holidays.”
