Funding on flooding defence

Flooding is causing huge problems for people using trains, buses and cars, and this Government does not have a clear plan for dealing with and preventing flooding on our roads and rails. This morning I asked the Environment Minister to explain where the extra £700 million pounds this Government pledged towards flood defence is being spent.
